GXG Remodeling paints interiors for homeowners across Homestead, Leisure City, Florida City, Princeton, Naranja, and every other city we serve in South Miami-Dade. South Florida's humidity is hard on cheap paint, so we use low-VOC, mildew-resistant coatings built to hold their finish in a coastal climate, not just look good on install day. Every room is prepped, patched, and protected before the first coat goes on.
These are typical Miami-Dade County ranges, not a quote. The only way to get an accurate number for your home is a walkthrough. Call (786) 724-5571 or request a free estimate.
Every interior painting job includes prep, protection, and a clean job site when we're done.
Prep is most of what separates a paint job that lasts from one that doesn't. We patch nail holes and cracks, sand rough spots smooth, caulk gaps at trim and ceilings, and spot-prime bare drywall or dramatic color changes before any topcoat goes on. Walls typically get two coats for even, lasting coverage. One coat shows roller marks and lap lines once the light hits it. When we're done, furniture goes back where it was and the job site is cleaned up, not left for you to deal with.
Homestead's heat and humidity are hard on interior finishes, especially in kitchens, bathrooms, and rooms that run the AC hard against outside moisture. That's why we default to mildew-resistant, low-VOC paint rather than a standard contractor-grade product. Interior painting is cosmetic work, so it doesn't require a permit through Miami-Dade County on its own. The exception is if it's rolled into a larger renovation that touches drywall, electrical, or structural work, which we'll flag for you up front if that applies.
A single room typically runs $400 to $2,000, and a whole-home repaint in the Miami-Dade area often lands around $4,940 for an average 1,900 sq ft home, or roughly $2.75 to $5.25 per square foot. The exact number depends on room size, wall condition, paint quality, and how many coats it takes. See our full cost guide or request a free estimate for pricing specific to your home.
A single room usually takes about a day start to finish. A full interior repaint on an average South Florida home typically runs 3 to 5 days depending on square footage, how much patching and prep the walls need, and the number of coats.
No. Interior painting is cosmetic work and doesn't require a permit in Miami-Dade County on its own, unless it's part of a larger renovation involving structural or electrical changes.
Low-VOC, mildew- and humidity-resistant paint suited for South Florida's climate. Standard interior paint tends to lose its finish faster in our heat and humidity, so we don't use it.
Yes. Furniture moving, floor covering, and surface protection are part of our standard prep on every job, not an add-on.
Whether it's a single room refresh or a whole-home repaint, we give you a written estimate up front and a clean, protected job site throughout. Call (786) 724-5571 or request a free estimate to get started. Not sure what it'll run? See our guide to interior painting costs in Homestead, FL.
